The Opportunity:

Reports to: Tax Partner
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the delivery of a full range of tax advisory and compliance services across corporate, personal, capital and indirect tax.
- Act as a senior adviser to clients, providing clear, commercially sound solutions to complex tax matters.
- Support the Tax Partner in developing and implementing the firm’s tax strategy.
- Build and nurture strong client relationships to become a trusted point of contact.
- Guide, mentor and support team members, helping them to grow both technically and professionally.
- Contribute to the continued growth of the firm’s tax offering, identifying opportunities and supporting business development.
- Work collaboratively across departments to deliver integrated client solutions.
- Represent O’Neill Foley in professional and business forums as appropriate.
Skills and Experience:
- Qualified tax adviser (CTA). Accountancy qualification also desirable (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
- Substantial post-qualification experience in Irish taxation, ideally within a professional services setting.
- Strong knowledge across a range of tax heads with the ability to apply expertise to varied client situations.
- A collaborative approach to leadership with proven ability to develop and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a client focused mindset.
- Commercial awareness and sound judgement.
- High personal standards of integrity and professionalism.
