John Conway is a Partner at O’Neill Foley’s Audit and Accounts Assurance department. Having joined O’Neill Foley from UCG in 2000 to train as a Chartered Accountant, John was appointed a Director with the firm in 2015. In 2018 John was appointed Partner. John provides audit and accountancy services to a wide range of sectors including agri-business, technology, renewable energy, manufacturing, retail, hospitality, healthcare, construction and professional services.

John is hugely experienced in providing audits, accounts and tax assurance to clients both in Ireland and the United Kingdom. He also provides extensive business advice to clients including financial performance analysis, strategic planning and banking. John specialises in advising entrepreneurs on business start-ups and expansion. John’s multi-sector experience and huge commitment to client service is greatly valued by clients seeking advice from him and his team.

Accomplishments

John is the audit principal on some of the firms’ largest audit assignments, managing the complexity of clients’ with businesses in excess of €100 million turnover.

Education 

John was educated at Knockbeg College, Carlow and he holds an Honours BA in Economics and Legal from the National University of Ireland, Galway and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
